Steve the pro staff deserve a 5 stars for his hospitality especially to a visitor like me. I played only their back 9, Hole 12,13 and the 14 are the most iconic hole on the back nine as it on the adjacent of Swan lake. Fairways at considerable maintained well, the green must be just re cored recently as it a bit sandy but no big issue for me. Online booking is easy, Thank you Maryland GC for the best golf experience for me.
Went and completed 9 holes with friends. Lovely day, beautiful breeze on an equally great course. The back 9 are better than the front 9 in regards to the hazards (mosquitoes). Great cafe there too.

Absolutely love this course. Didn't lose a ball which probably doesn't mean anything but there are so many trees and some water danger. The course is maintained by hard working workers at work. Green fairways and fast greens.
Excellent course of a public golf course, credit to the staff and groundsman. Just check before booking if the greens have been cored and sanded. The were earlier this week 28/11/23 not worth playing if so. Bar and Cafe great, beer is over priced. Practice green and driving range well worth a visit. Overall 8/10
Huge props to the fellas at the clubhouse. Turned up with a group of 8 and had the booking details wrong - guys went out of their way to get us on within 10mins of the tee time. Saved what would’ve been a disaster. Great day had by all!
I’m not one to review usually but 3 consecutive poor experiences, I reckon it’s worth one. Some of the most appalling course management and pace of play going around. Took my group over 30 minutes to tee off from the scheduled time as the course was so horribly backed up. We had to wait for over 3-5mins for every single shot. Consistently I see group of 5-8 players together slowing it up for the rest of the field, the greens keepers seemingly take no notice of what’s going on as during the slither of chance to tee off on any given hole they’ll stay in the fairway mowing or blowing rather than paying attention. Fair enough give right of way but don’t take the mickey. This is my closest course to home yet it’s my last resort purely because of course management. Something needs to be done.
Maylands Peninsula Golf course is a lovely public course on the banks of the Swan River. The course is relatively easy to play and the greens are top notch. The beautiful views of Optus Stadium and the city make it a must play. Each tee box has a plaque with some historical facts that increase your knowledge. Only downside is its very hard to get a booking on the weekends.
